Hi, I'm Kari Kreitlow.

I’m not really the blog type, but here goes:

I’m a mom to two energetic boys and, if you count my husband Cory, I guess that makes three. We also share our home with three Basset Hounds—Mabel, Murphy, and McFly (aka Fly Dog).

Art has always been a passion of mine, especially creating something from scratch. I love the feeling you get from a new idea and using that inspiration to create something special - this extends into my photography as well.

I’m not one to learn through tutorials or reading a bunch of instructions. I need to dive in, to actually do it, to figure it out as I go.

When it comes to photos, I’m all about capturing real, unposed moments. Sure, I’ll help with some direction, but my favorite shots are the ones where you’re just being yourselves—genuine emotions, natural interactions. I love those little moments that happen when you don’t even know I’m there, the candid shots that might not be perfect but are always full of feeling. To me, those are the ones that tell your story—the laughs, the smiles, the tiny, unfiltered moments that make up the most memorable parts of life. That’s what truly makes me happy.
